Oklahoma Association of Healthcare Recruiters had its beginning in the Spring of 1978. A group of nurse recruiters in Oklahoma City and Tulsa areas met to discuss mutual concerns and share information. They found the meeting beneficial to all. These Recruiters encouraged others to join this organization and contribute their expertise.

This group has now become the Oklahoma Association of Healthcare Recruiters, reflecting the varied fields of recruitment in today’s healthcare environment.
